Dermaceutic Activ Retinol 1.0 is an extra strength age defense serum which reduces the appearance of advanced photo-damage, reducing fine lines and deeper wrinkles, hyperpigmentation while improving a dull, dehydrated complexion. It improves uneven skin tone and texture and increases skin radiance. Recommended for anyone with mature, sun-damaged skin. This product is not suitable sensitive or rosacea-prone skins.
Key ingredients include pure Retinol 1.0% that repairs and protects more sun-damaged skin. It stimulates the renewal of skin cells and regulates the migration and transformation of keratinocytes. Pure Vitamins C and E combats the signs of photoaging and limits their appearance. A blend of skin-restoring ingredients such as Ceramides, Panthenol, Allantoin and a Mineral Cocktail all help to reinforce the skin barrier and intensely hydrate and protect the skin. Paraben-free. Fragrance-free.
Recommendation: A unique combination of Retinol together with other high-performance actives and energizers to restore, rejuvenate and hydrate the skin giving it a radiant glow. Formulated for those with more advanced signs of skin ageing. Do not use during pregnancy, if planning a pregnancy or when breastfeeding. It is best to use high strength Retinol at night only. Always use a high-factor broad spectrum during the day when using this product to avoid pigmentation. I would suggest if you have never used Retinol before, starting with the 0.5% Retinol.

I am surpised by the efficiency of the product. I have been using retinol products for a very long time in higher concentrations but this made my skin peel after having applied it two consecutive nights. My skin is glowing though after the peeling calmed down. I’d definitely recommend starting with a lower concentration if you’re not used to using retinol. I’m eager to see if this can combat the discoloration on my forehead. Leaves my skin ever so lightly sticky after application. After a few days break I’ve restarted applying the cream and so far so good! No regrets!
