Is it a Shampoo and Conditioner?

Our formula has been specifically developed for those with finer hair textures in mind. Although anybody can use our Women’s 7-IN-1 shampoo it does have less conditioning agents within then some others on the market. This product has been scientifically designed to deliver the optimum amount of conditioning without weighing the hair down. Even if you don’t have fine hair our 7-IN-1 is still a great step in your regime, but you may need to add a separate conditioner to your protocol.

How often should I use the women’s 7-IN-1?

We advise that you use this shampoo every time you wash your hair. For best results use together with Nanogen’s thickening range, as part of your regime.

Is it safe to use on colour treated hair?

Yes they are suitable for coloured hair, however, for best colour maintenance we suggest using no more frequently than every other day.

What is SLS and why do you not use it?

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) is a surfactant and is very good at cleaning and generating rich lather. But it can be irritating for people. Sulphate alternatives tend to have weak foam and not clean hair as well. We use ALS which has all the cleaning and foaming properties of SLS but without the irritation. ALS is a larger molecule than SLS making it harder to penetrate the scalp skin and therefore, is far milder. Nanogen as a brand is 100% SLS free.

Do your products contain parabens?

No, our entire product range is paraben free.

Do you test on animals?

Definitely not. Nanogen are passionately against animal testing. As part of the strict requirements of European regulation (2013), we don’t test on animals and we won’t ask any other company to test on our behalf. We look forward to the day when animal testing is banned worldwide forever.
